We understand that early years funding can feel confusing at first. Whether you are new to Scallywags or your child already attends, there are a number of different funding options available to help support your childcare needs.

We have created a detailed Funding Guide to help families understand how government funding works, the options available, and how this is delivered at Scallywags Childcare Centre, including information about fees and optional extras.

Government funding contributes towards the cost of early years provision; however, it does not fully cover the true cost of delivering high quality care, experienced staff, enriching environments, home-cooked meals, and extended learning opportunities. To support the delivery of our enhanced provision, we offer an Enrichment option which many families choose as part of their childcare package.
