Children in our Tines Room are provided with a safe and interesting environment with age appropriate resources to enable them to develop their curiosity, co–ordination and physical skills. They are provided with a range of opportunities and once they have developed confidence in a new skill, highly experienced adults are ready to step in to introduce new opportunities to them.  The Tinies love “making tea” in the home corner and burning off some energy on the soft play area.

The children in Tinies are able to develop their increasing independance through selecting their own toys and activities.  They are also given opportunities to learn new skills while participating in activities such as craft, tactile and sensory activities which are initially planned and set up by adults, then spontaneously developed and led by the children. Our outside play areas are easily accessible to the children and here they can enhance their skills and enjoy the sand pits, the willow house, the growing and planting areas and riding bikes. 

Our Tinies Room is a fun, busy bright and exciting place, which will help the children achieve their maximum potential. Their own designated toileting area with age appropriate  facilities help to build children’s confidence in toileting and practising good hygiene routines, they also have a seperate nappy / accident changing facilities.
